    The drug issue made this go away if you ask me. Folks were looking to put Stewart away. Had the driver been squeaky clean, this might have had a different outcome.

    I don't think Stewart "slid" out to hit the kid, but I do believe he added some juice for effect, and **** got away from him. Bottom line, only Stewart knows.........

    On the other hand. If Stewart wasn't a hot head and had he not put someone in the wall to cost him a checkered flag, maybe this would have been a non issue.

    I could not imagine how one could smoke a joint right before a dirt track race and even be remotely competitive. It doesn't work for Mario cart on Nintendo I couldn't fathom it in a real life race at high speeds. Maybe ward was able to maintain.
