Anybody been lately? I know its still a little early but ive got an itch and may ride down this weekend. Water temps, color? May take a little live bait but would like to find a good jig bite

I just started Monday put good fish in the boat trooper area flats by deep live bait drifting tues a little slower but decent, 69 (temp gauge suspect).

IM sure the lake is a steady light draw down but nothing to deal with, clear,

nothing near over but good heavy 20 inchers,
guest at the lodge throwing jigs were bragging they did good

Thanks Rick thats what I was hoping to hear, now if i can just find somebody to ride with me. Hope all is well with ya
