There's always someone, on every site, who takes it upon themselves to play the obnoxious lib and, unfortunately, they tend to ruin an otherwise great bulletin board with their prattling of socialist nonsense. The majority of those of us who've chosen to engage in and enjoy our sport of all things fishing related are naturally conservationists at heart. We're American patriots, for the most part, who believe in the US and the fact that we're a Christian nation, with Christian belief's. We're an open lot with a strong sense of right and wrong and don't truck with those who are not. Unlike the entitled 50% of the country, we are not stupid in our voting beliefs (your own consultants words, not mine). Rather than belabor the point and cry about your freedom of speech, if you don't agree with the tenor of this site then please, by all means, leave it. Don't stick us with a "brad" as on the BFHP site which has essentially ruined that site, nor the strict hurt my feelings censorship of the BBC. What did your post have to do with amnesty? When the heck is anyone going to even try to figure out a solution? You guys DONT want a solution. Sure I'm tagged as a liberal, but I really don't know any liberals who hire these illegals. These god christian god fearing tillers of the earth, brought most of these guys here.And most of them didnt care if they were legal or not, just get the baccy picked, and git. I wouldn't work that job, no matter the money. BUT for years it was done, how? Smaller farms,using and helping neighbors. I talked to a lot of old folks who did it, and it wasn't the road to riches, but a nice bit of seasonal work.I said before we had latino workers in the steel mills in the 40's, they paid taxes, they paid social security, they paid into the economy here, not home in mexico or guatemala or where ever.This problem is only about 30 years old.

I'm sorry to say this, but the truth hurts. The idea of bringing cheap migrant workers to harvest our crops,has been praised in the words affordable food. IS IT? I'm only going to touch this issue briefly, it will eventually lead to a different country than the one we live in now. Why are there blacks in america? my feelings on it. deport them, and let them reenter using the legal way.This illegal problem, is not ancient history, we imported chinese, japanese, eastern europeans. I went to high school with latino students, they were in ourn ranks in the military BUT, these were citizens. I have never had a problem with "Legal" Immigration,but to grant amnesty to these people who violated our laws and the sanctity of our border is a slap in the face of people who have immigrated and are trying to immigrate Legally.

What's even worse is that 1 out of 30 American Children are now Homeless and Millions are unemployed,yet Obama and the Dems are allowing these people pour across the border freely and giving them Tax Payer benefits ,directing them to available jobs,giving them free educations,etc

My property taxes have went up every year since I owned this farm,I've paid more than my share for my children to go to school and plenty to put them through college,why should I pay for a free college education for people who don't come here to be Americans,but to abuse our system and take while waving flags of allegiance to the Latin American Country from whence they came?

Oh and nevermind the radical Islamic Terrorists sneaking across or all the wide open drug trade endangering American Lives along the border.

Just because it has happened in the past doesn't meant it needs to CONTINUE.

As other stated...........we simply cannot afford to continue to pay for this ********.

I've got an idea.........something like this:

1). NO AMNESTY, but a route to citizenship.
2). That route should include fines, significant FINES, and a long waiting period.
3). All Illegals must register as Illegal or be rounded up and sent home.
4). All illegal criminals.....to be determined by the severity of crime are rounded up and shipped home.
5). No ILLEGAL gets any government benefits.......PERIOD.......

Simple.........very , very simple.

i SURE DID And if you follow many of my posts, t was a sarcastic remark. Am i wrong when I say nobahma deported more illegals than any president? Prove me wrong! Ever hear of the american refugee act? enacted in the 80s. Ever wonder why we have immigrants escaping drug cartels in latin america? Those hoodlums went to best training schools in the world. Our prison system, did their time were deorted back home, and started some of the cartels.Since I have no job, and like to delve into real history, and the after math of our actions.I've come to two conclusions. man, you wrote a book, almost. I do apply heart felt compassion, for anyone that has a hard life. and skin color don't change what I see. I do know what our Armed Forces have done. my Granddad was in WW11 and one of my uncles, my Dad was in Korea, and I joined the Military in 1971. I'm far from being closed minded, I can see back fare enough, to see this country taken from the Native American people that it belonged to. by our forefathers, or illegals which ever name you prefer calling them. that is why I said everyone here, are illegals besides the Native Americans. life is very short, enjoy life and have a little compassion for others. don't be so hung up on the Government tit. that tit helps a lot of needy folks. I work every day and know a lot of guys half my age, feed off the tit you so often refer to. I don't like that, but I try and think of the ones that are helpless and what would they do without the Government assistance, or the tit as you call it. I would much rather see my tax dollars, being spent on Government assistance than being spent on million dollar missiles, when we already have enough weapons to destroy the world many times over.

The illegals were talking about had little to do with spain.They are mostly native to latin america, with mostly indian blood. That area was taken from the natives by spainish colonists. Just like florida. LA Raza which means the race, started out like the NAACP, and there are radical bnranches of it. One branch has been actively "ethnicly cleansing" area in california. Next on their list are the eastern european, they have dreams of the whole south west being anothjer country. I don't believe much of it, but that kind of crap is out there.

I'm third generation american, grand parents came from poland, via ellis island. There was migration from germany, the nordic countrys , ireland,and south east asia. Just like austrailians, they were transplants.There were no jews in america, and the garden of eden wasn't in st louis.[probably branson mo]. We ALL know this stuff.So what happened? How is one part of the county "more american" than others? When I was in the service, our company had native americans[4] puerto ricans,latinos, germans[from germany drafted when they were here]. But we had one badge of distinction a tag that sais US ARMY. No difference between vols and draftees.
