Are you talking about the ky side a road that takes you to the beach? I have a friend at church that is working on the dam project. He projects the project to be finished 12/31/14. I will ask him tomorrow at church (Wed).

yes the road on ky side goes back to old sand bar. the guy i talked to about a month ago said it was going to be blocked until sometime in nov. thank you.

I spoke to my friend that has been working on the dam, he said the road is closed due to they are now working on the fishing pier there and have been for a couple of weeks. Doesn't know when they will open it up.
