You'd be surprised. I have two Hobie Outbacks and one Hobie Pro Angler 14 for clients. I took out a guy that was 6'8" and probably closer to 300lbs then 250. The PA14 has a 600lb capacity and it has a big comfy seat!
Pedaling is much easier then youd think as well. Ive fished with a couple of "experienced" guys. This guy was in his early 70's and after catching a sail a couple of months ago he has already booked me for three snapper trips next season!
