That picture was on here last year. IF they caught those fish yesterday these guys must be cold natured.Air temp. Was in the upper 80's yesterday. Lake temp. Is probably in lower 70's.

yes that's what I was saying November during the winter drawdown and cooler water temps the bite goes crazy and the bigger fish show up
November on barren will produce some of the biggest stringers of the year and just waiting on the cooler water temps

I havent been to barren in years. A buddy and i were thinking about heading there this week for some largemouth? Any suggestions for this time of year?
Cover water and find shad. Hard to say whether they have moved towards the backs of creeks or not, I haven't been out there.
Throw a spinnerbait or rattle trap type bait and cover water. When you find one you will likely find several working on schools of shad.
The water is about 10 below summer pool and they are still pullin the lake hard
the bite is much better now an getting better every day
