Winter predictions

mhall what are your winter predictions? is winter about over????

Sorry roadrunner just seeing this. A complete roller coaster ride of crazy swings in extremes I feel are on the table. We will see bitter cold and warm temps sometimes in the same week. I think Dec looks about average with ups and downs and few brutal cold snaps and even thunderstorms with some severe in places.

January and Feb will again have wild swings but mostly colder than average. Snow fall I feel will be above average around here again with a couple of 6 inches plus snows on the table. Artic air masses will invade us and give us some bone chilling weather at times but may be short lived. The NAO and the El Nino will flip flop from positive to negative flows along with a crazy jet stream that will take hard southern dips and then retreat. In short get ready for a wild ride sir, some of this winter you may like while a lot of it....you won't.
