here we go again, I can kinda see this one, where he reached for a gun that the cop could see. but the next killing that was called accidental, I can't buy that story.

accident or not ? if you kill an unarmed person, you had better think of something quick. to me if you don't plan to use your weapon, leave it in the holster.

When you disobey a law enforcement officer's command to put your hands in the air and instead go for a gun in your waistband...expect to get shot. That's whether you are 13 or 33, black, white, red, or yellow. Cop has no idea whether the gun is fake or not and isn't willing to gamble their life on it. Would you? If it was a kid, It was a shame...but I blame his moron parents for not teaching him that such behavior is bad/wrong. Unfortunate, but totally justified.

The second story, there is nowhere near enough information on what happened to even judge it.

You could prolly post articles about other Murders which would have more impact to me. Gang members kill more kids women and innocent folks in Chicago each year than cops (making mistakes) do each year. I would even say cop killings in Chicago are fewer when they are justified as well.....that's just a guess.

Yep. I don't get why folks continue to try to paint cops in a bad way.

Yea, there are some bad seeds, but I would say 99% of all cops you will EVER MEET are solid, and simply want to do their job.

It is sad folks are always on the lookout for a "bad" cop, instead of on the lookout for a "bad" gangbanger.

Ferguson is a prime example. Why are we even talking about that **** hole anymore? Why are blacks burning and looting and threatening violence?

I read the article, and the boys father has already hired an attorney, and was demanding to know why two cops would not use tazzers (sp) or shoot in the leg not center mass.....Lets see, kid has gun in waste band of shorts, gun is a bb gun, with the orange removed from the barrel, cops have weapons drawn, tell you to put your hands up, you know the slogan "hands up don't shoot", and what does this kid do, he reaches for the gun, now he is dead.....now two cops lives are going to be over for doing their job, a family is destroyed, and for what, because you don't know how to **** listen to a cop, because all the videos you watch, and the music you listen too makes you want to live a "thug life"....when I was 12 years old, and a cop told me to climb on my roof and jump, I would of done exactly that....what kind of 12 year old reaches for a toy gun, when two cops are drawn down on you telling you to put your hands up? I just don't get it anymore....I really don't, and I have a 6 year old granddaughter that has to be raised around this crap.....I don't know if he was just a stupid kid, but even so, wouldn't you of just raised your hands? These cops did not know that gun was fake, and now they have to live with this the rest of their lives, but of course most black folks think that a white cop wakes up in the morning hoping to go kill a black man.....prayers for all involved....just a bad bad situation this country is in!!!
