    not only leafs

I think i mentioned that we moved into senior housing because of my mates medical problems. 10 minutes to the hospital, and the med pavilion, [go there quite often] I also spend an inordinate amount of time picking up old folks. Guess I'm about the strongest codger around here in some respects. And it's mostly old ladys. why can't woman face the fact that are not young anymore? My mate wore herself out christmas shopping, and tree and other decorating, for what? After my first one died, my son asked if I was going to decorate for Xmas, I said yes, I'll leave the beer cans on the table. My second one died in mid december, she had me move all the decorationed out of the shed and get ready for the decorating.they sat there till march. But here we go again, I know why I'm a hum bug. You want some good advice DONT GET OLD

Hum bug huh? I'm worse....I don't put a tree up or decorations. I haven't in years and when I did years ago it was a small tree that went on a table and you plugged it in. Pre-decorated and had maybe 20 lights on it.

    Sorry to hear that............

Old age is a bitch. I only hope to be up and around when I'm 60-70 . Hell I took a 75 yr old dude to Canada this past year.

GREAT guy, but you never know. He was one of the very first to go up there some 30+ years ago, and when he asked one of the senior members of our group about going, there was no question we'd figure a way.

He did GREAT, pulled his own weight and was fantastic around camp. **** thing, he blew out his hip crossing the street in Virginia, MN when we came out of the park........

5 miles of tough billygoat portages didn't phase him, but a quick step across traffic done him it. I was sure that when I saw him, he'd been hit by a car....scared the TAR out of me and everyone else.

When we talked about taking him to the hospital he said "get my ass in the car, and I will worry about a hospital in Louisville. I don't want to see no **** doctor in Minnesota. I want to see my own **** doctor............."

Like I said....tough old dude.....Probably could whip all our asses.

thats the year i started my down hill slide. I called 911 and had her in the emergency room at0900 after she fell again, i told her stay in bed, But NO. 2 broken toes, slight concusion, low BP, dehydrated, anemic, but she's like a timex, takes a likin, and keeps on ticking.

This is a completely different case than what happened in Ferguson. There is video evidence of the chokehold being applied (against department policy) and the coroner's office report said that was the main cause of the death. IMO there has to be some type of charge.
The cause of his death was he is a 350lb asthematic, who smokes and lots of other issues.........It was complicated by him being an ass hat and refusing ORDERS of authority.

It was more complicated by a cop using a questionable tactic.

SAD, but had he complied he'd be alive.
