    facebook

I have got off of there again maybe for good this time, we'll see. I find it a source of aggravation and it usually raises my blood pressure. I think I will just stay with you guys we can argue and and stuff but it usually doesn't last long, lol. I can't stand all the Obama butt lickers and all the stuff that comes across my news feed it makes me mad and I don't need that.

Going to take a serious break and if I can stay off of that evil media drug hopefully never come back. I waste entirely to much time on there as well.

Yeah I try to only get on there when I am bored. I considered trying to stay off a few times. I even deleted my account a few times but came back. I have a few friends who like to chat via facebook since they don't have smart phones so I get dragged back in. Of course calling is always an option but who talks anymore???!!!

LOL Oh the irony. I did away with my Facebook page at the end of August and decided last night to start a new one. I am going to do it different this time though. If it is not someone I want to talk to, I will not add them as friends, even if it is family and they annoy me.

Btw Geo and DJD, I just sent you guys friend request. LOL

I'm a young guy and I get really stupid looks when I tell people I don't have facebook. I never have and never will. My family and friends have my phone # and if they want to send me pictures they can send them via snapchat. Half the people on facebook I would talk to would be losers I went to highschool with and the pretty girls that never talked to me anyhow Hahahaha. I've got better things to do than read a post about how Someones cereal was chronic that morning

Tim T, I received your "friend" request today when I signed on to FB.

mhall and DJD, how will you know what fantastic item I prepared for dinner and the latest edition of the adventures of Big Dog if you stop FB?

Robbie in all honesty and I really mean this, I actually will miss your antics as they were one of the best parts of facebook for me. I just found myself getting pissed off all the time and as ShaniQua said, ''I ain't got time fo dat.''

Now if I can just figure out what I did to Tim Tipton I will be whole again, LMAO
Maybe I should show up down at Cabelas and go into the fly shop get him in a flying triangle choke hold and rub a bare spot on that huge bald head of his. Good Lord the humanity of that head!

There are a couple settings you can make to keep a bunch of that bull **** aggravation down to a minimum.

Too bad Mark. I always love your posts...............

For those who want to not be pissed off on fb so much. Goto the settings and set the privacy to friends . Get rid of the friends of friends. That will eliminate about 100 tons of bull .......

Mark, maybe you need to downsize the number and or quality of your friends on FB.

I've got a friend or two that absolutely adore Obama and I just shake my head at some of their postings. Their remarks don't upset me and their other redeeming qualities outnumber the few weird posts.

Posts on Facebook, like fishin.com, will never change a person's beliefs on core values. There are liberal and conservative folks here and I've never seen people on either side change their mind on a political issue. We all know where Geofisher stands on an issue but I've never seen a person from the other side convert to his views. It works the same way on FB.

I'm going to attempt to postulate an analogy: I'm a catfish. I hang out with other catfish because we have the same values. Every so often, a largemouth bass will swim into to our school. Hmm, what does he have to say and what are his actions. He sure doesn't think like us catfish but sometimes he's fun to watch.

I've converted a few.......they will never say they "converted" but it is amazing the positions they take on stuff once the see the "stuff".

I hear what you guys are saying and it is as much taking to much of time as anything else therefore that was really the deciding factor. I will likely be back some day but I need an extended break. I am outspoken to a fault, something my Mother tried very hard to change about me but couldn't even she didn't like that trait, lol.

I can't help it, its a disease it pops into to my head and it comes out of my mouth then I have to end up defending it. I wish sometimes I could just be the one that sits back and and listens and shuts up more. I have came a long way with that but still have miles to go. One thing for sure I don't hear ''Hey Mark what do you think'' a lot, lol.....but I need to. Mom was always right and I listened to her on most things.............hard to change dna I suppose and how are make up is personality wise. Should have took after Mom more.......sigh

Passionate about many things, too much so many times. I hate bickering, I'm to old and growing too tired for all that stuff.

I just wish it was mid May and I was at St Clair wiggling a drop shot..........
