Florida bass fishing

In a couple of weeks plan on going to lake kissimmee to do some bass fishing but i am wondering if we might be better off going on down to the big o. So what i was wondering if we were to go to lake okeechobee which end of the lake would be the best to try to catch some of the big bass? Plan on doing some shinner fishing for about a week. If you can share any other information we could use it to. Thanks

Sorry about late reply but a friend of mine is a p/t guide on Big "O". And yes he's a licensed guide not a pirate. He told me last night that yesterday he had 1 of his best days ever for 1/2 day. 3 clients used 3 doz shiners but caught 13 bass ranging from 4 lbs to 7 1/2....last week he said he was lucky to catch 2 or 3 & outing. He's out of the north end and says the water is up 4 ft higher than last year. Also a friend caught a 10.9 from Lake Griffin yesterday on the Harris Chain. www.tvfreshwaterfishingclub.com
