You can find them at 17 but from the shore it's going to be tough. Anything under 15 at the lower gauge is going to be better. The best is when it stay's the same for several day's. I don't like it when the river yo-yo's up and down. I suggest fishing as close to the dam as you can or the first drop there at the shelf below the museum. Chuck
