Got to Taylorsville at about 11am. water temp 45-46F water was stained at state park ramp. It got clearer out on main lake but visibility never better than 3ft.

We went through most of the well accepted winter artillary the first two hrs without a single hit. Was thinking of the old saying, A bad day fishing is better than a good day Christmas shopping on N-ville Road

Then put on a deep running crank bait to just be different and on first cast caught a nice 2.5 lber. Then within 20 mins had 2 more typical T Ville footballshaped fish but not quite keepers.

We ended up with 11 bass. 3 keepers, 2.5, 3, and 4.5 lbs. Most of the fish were caught in the 10 to 12 ft depth.

It was good to get out, not be working, and manage to catch a few fish in late December
