You know, the kid is taking a lot of flack for it...and deservedly so...but it happens way too much in college sports. I think what made his worse was him rubbing his jaw on the sidelines 30 seconds later. Gotta give him credit I guess - When he tells a story he commits to it.

I saw the replay and was like:

So, close game. UL gave UK all they wanted. I didn't anticipate such a defensive battle, but should have. Both D's are stout and it was intense. I don't want to play them again in the tournament. I was most surprised at how Louisville shot outside the arc.

Here it is Louisville shoots 24 percent from the field otherwise the store bought team goes home with a red a ss. Wayne Blackshear would never play on my team not even a role come off the bench type capacity. Pitino never even tried anything different and stuck with the brick layers.

Calipari at half says..'' My guys are running over saying they are hitting me, well guess what I'm not playing those guys that's how ''THEY'' play''................What a joke guess what you greaseball your guys gave just as much as they received so give it a break. I would give five hundred dollars to throat punch that ass hole and not go to jail. The store bought team won as expected and Louisville can't shoot what did we learn....................not a **** thing!

It is a growing problem in the game. Hell Andrew Harrison does the same crap to a certain degree. Drives me insane. But the way it's looking uk may be stuck with him at the point for another 2 seasons because I don't see anyway he goes pro. IMHO if rather see ulis run the point for us. He's a lot smarter and a much better play maker. Say what you want about his size but the kid can flat out play ball.

I didn't know it was possible for me to dislike the Cards any more than I already did before the game yesterday. I found out it was.

Louisville plays as dirty as you see in the game today. They hack at you, shove you around away from the ball, flop and dive all over the court, and jerk their heads around when anyone gets near them on a screen. It's shameful and disgusting.

Ulis gets his temple bloodied, doesn't even flinch and has to be pulled from the game. Jones doesn't get touched, flops to the ground and pretends to be hurt for several more minutes. If I was a fan of that team, I'd be embarrassed.

Louisville got UK's C game and still had to resort to cheating to have any chance.

Kind of like that football team of yours. Man you UK fans are one of a kind. I have watched Kentucky all year and nobody in college ball hacks more than UK does. Even been a few coaches talk of it after they play you. Get a game film, any this year of UK and watch their play inside, give me a break.

Now the flopping by Jones was ridiculous and a buddy and I were about to puke watching his performance. Harrell on that Stein steal was pushed and then the neck tattoo stared him down for about 30 seconds. This whole UK is innocent and Louisville is the Devil crap makes me laugh.

I guess I'm different, because I'm not good enough to tell the difference at speed between aggressive defense and the "dirty low down hacking" that everyone talks about. A team that really slaps the floor and plays balls out defense is going to be physical. Kentucky was just as physical yesterday. Body bumps, hip checks, hands all over, elbows flying. Quit crying and play. It's up to the refs to blow the whistle if it's over the line. Now, there was a lot of acting on Louisville's side, but Harrison has done the "head jerk" all year too. Jones' flop was still one of the funniest I've ever seen, largely because of the jaw rubbing 30 seconds later. I'm sure the kid regrets it today.

Mark, watch the video of Stein and Harrell. https://vine.co/v/OHx22OnngBn He didn't get pushed. He was hustling as hard as he could to get to the ball and fell forward. Loved the effort by both. I liked Harrell's emotion and I think he got a bum wrap from the media after the semi-punch following his gang rape by 3 Hilltoppers.

As for Andrew Harrison, he needed to go over in the corner and take a dump so that he could come back to Lexington and tell folks he did something there yesterday. LOL

Can't let the rivalry cloud your reality. Kentucky fans are convinced that Louisville is a bunch of dirty hack-attack thugs. Louisville fans are convinced that Kentucky is a bunch of cheating store-bought premadonnas. Both are baseless and void of truth. They're all kids playing basketball for iconic coaches at big time programs. Nothing more.

Well said Q. BTW I have no comment on the game for three reasons. Number 1, I was at work from 1-10 so I didn't get to watch it. Number 2,it is a basketball game in December. Number 3, the important sport and team in my twisted world plays Georgia Tuesday night!

Of course, long time posters here know that I am a Louisville fan and that football is my favorite sport, despite me building a mini-dynasty in the fishin.com bracket challenge! LOL

Yes. The UK football team's actions at the game with Louisville this year embarrassed me. Their play most of the year embarrassed me too.

UK may do some hacking, but the Cardinals are obviously coached to play dirty.

Harrell flopped on that play you mentioned as well. It was pathetic.
