some other people lost their homes due to the fact that they didn't have adequate health insurance and got sick or injured and ran up huge hospital and doctor's bills. They were the unlucky ones, not you!
100% increase from zero is still zero.
Come on man.....using that argue meant is weak. Many lost their homes during the economic crash....am I supposed to bear that burden as well? Many didn't qualify for the home they lived in...that my fault?
Anyway....to be fair (since we are talking about people in general now) some didn't deserve anything but hardship. They chose to not get an education, they chose to drop out of high school, they chose to party and not better themselves, they chose to not get health insurance, they chose to live like an idiot and smoke, eat or drink themselves into that hardship. Me..... I do my best to eat right, excersize , drink very little alcohol, don't smoke and get routine checkups and I try to do the right things in life. I don't spend beyond my means, I have a living will/will, and make good choices like being responsible for my kids and my future. I wasn't born to be where I am in life! I made it happen..I didn't wander around my whole adult life searching for a good paying job or crying that someone put a barrier up...I went through it, over it or around it......I made it happen! Many of the sob stories you hold so dear had the same opportunity I had but chose to do it differently. I'm sorry I don't wallow in the low points of others.
You libs still can't help but falling for the sob story. No amount of protection from the gubment is going to stop sob stories but you continue to live your life with that false belief. It's always easy to spend others money isn't it? Like I have said over and over to you...put YOUR money not mine where your mouth is. Show me how you spend and support others above and beyond what the gubment takes from you. Do you tithe? Do you contribute your time to help others? Support Red Cross? Saint Jude's? Volunteer anywhere? Wounded Warriors? Do you send money in to help the needy? Or is it just easier to sit back and push your own self righteous wishes on others and sit back feeling like you have done something? I'm curious what branch of the service were you in? Air Force?
Sure i wish the world was perfect and no one suffered but just because a person is suffering doesn't mean they deserve help. Some folks do not deserve help because they never took the time to help themselves. Now, since your next tactic is to attack me I'll tell you yes bad things happen to good people and I feel for them. I deal with it like we all do at some point. I would like my Mother to not be dealing with Cancer again. I wish my dad was still alive and didn't die the way he did but bad things happen. Did we as a family lose our shirts? Nope my dad planned for the future. Worked his butt off and provided. I can say this I know many people from being on this earth 52 years (I'm not competing just saying) and maybe I know people who are poor-lower middle class, middle class, upper middle class and wealthy and no one I know has lost everything from not having health insurance. That's just me but I make a lot of my decisions based on my life not the national average/sob stories/liberal banter.
We can't go through every scenario of bad things happening because that's impossible. What we can say is that the Libs lied, were deceitful and played games with our lives over obamacare. What makes you believe we have seen the full impact of this law yet? Hell they kept postponing landmark deadlines so you libs wouldn't get voted out in Congress and that was a bust. Doesn't that simple fact tell you how I am not a minority on not trusting the libs? Anyway, new regulations are coming soon next year so let's see how compassionate you and all the libs are who begged for this.

WHY WHY does it work in almost all the CIVILIZED countrys in the world? It was bound to happen, you guys are poed because it wasn't romney who would have did it later. This has been talked about since nixon was president. the past is past, live with it. Sure I liked the good old days, but they are GONE. And yes I pay for part of my insurance, and the price has always gone up.
look at the tax rate in all those 'civilized' countries.
a german i used to work for said they pay about 60% of their income in taxes in germany. that's getting pretty close to communism.
Well I wish I was that smart to predict the future or (past??) but I don't know what Romney would have done. I will say I don't like politicians pandering to some imaginary majority like Pelosi, Reid and Obama kept saying about their insurance reform....you remember they said an overwhelming majority needed this reform but I never met a person from that majority.WHY WHY does it work in almost all the CIVILIZED countrys in the world? It was bound to happen, you guys are poed because it wasn't romney who would have did it later. This has been talked about since nixon was president. the past is past, live with it. Doing something for the sake of doing something is stupid......I really think that's what the Libs did. Remember and be fair....they passed the **** bill without reading it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that is fact and that should be all the proof you need that the Libs did this to just do something and get their hands in our lives even more than they are already.
i just don't follow the thought process of (it) was bound to happen. I wish (it) was a well thought out plan that actually addressed problems that existed instead of creating more. Maybe if the transparent liberal Gubment was actually trying to help us we would have had some active discussion instead of the midnight deal.
Your right it's done.....we all will live with it but I will never forget the lies and flip flopping ways of obama and the Libs who controlled congress doing this to us.
Only liberals tell lies? I'm sorry that is so full of s--t. If you believe that, you need to take a close look at your thinking.. You guys only hear what you want to hear, and guess what?

To control the congress the Democrats would have needed a majority in the house of representatives and a super majority in the US Senate and that was not the case. The GOP members in the house and the senate had to help vote for the Affordable Health Care Act. Yes Obama lobbied for the bill and so have the Dems for many years. They wanted to make sure that people could afford to have health care and health insurance and be healthy so that they could enjoy life without being sick. I see nothing wrong with that. The only part that I don't like is forcing the young people to buy insurance so that they are insured too. In the past they were not insurance and they got sick or injured and the rest of us had to pay for their treatment as the hospitals got stuck with the costs which they passed onto everyone else. Now that everyone has health insurance and there is completion for the insured the cost are not going up as fast as before. In some cases the cost have declined for many. That's a good thing. But Obama never controlled the Congress ever.
Nothing nobahma does is right. These guys think He invented taxes. Taxes in one way or another has been with MAN ever since there was any form of government. And the folks who could least afford them were always the bearers of them. When a tax was abolished, another was created to make up the revenue. This isn't mind boggling, its a cruel fact. Rulers or governments need reveue, always have always will. Being a liberal means I understand that. the consevative philosophy, of hooray for me, screw you, forgets one basic fact, me, and you are US. And all of us are in this life boat together, even ballast is needed.
Ok I'll play your game....if you don't like controlled how about majority? To control the congress the Democrats would have needed a majority in the house of representatives and a super majority in the US Senate and that was not the case. I guess I wasn't paying attention.....Who was the Senate Majority Leader and who was the House Majority leader back then? Who did the independents "party" with?
Now a few things are wrong with your post...not everyone has health insurance. The deadline keeps moving and I think the new deadline is next Febuary unless your one of the millions who will get amnesty.
You don't like young people being forced to buy health insurance? Why? I thought you didn't like footing the bill for others?
So so far your claim of lower insurance has not been proven to me. Why has our insurance and other small business insurance plans gone up 95-100%?? I pay my daughters insurance through BCBS and it goes up even year. What insurance do you have that's so awesome that it goes down?? Please tell me so I can check.
i will qualify my above paragraph by saying I have not reviewed our new plan yet or my daughters plan since nothing has come back from the insurance companies so my judgments and statements are based on the last 18 years (her age) of rising health insurance costs.
i guess you know that Kentucky has opened up and we can get quotes form other insurance companies?? Before it was closed to specific ones as far as I knew.

The Majority does not always control the US Senate due to the filibuster rules in place. That's what I was talking about. I call it a fact while you called it a game. I had this argument with one of my GOP neighbors and he didn't ever get it. At least you listen and that's appreciated.
I'm not sure how old your daughter is but if she's young enough she can be added to your insurance now. And if you have a pre existing health problem the laws says that the insurance company can't deny you coverage.
Some of the increased cost for health insurance is because now the insurance companies have to meet min standards for insurance coverage. Some in the past paid less for their health insurance but they really didn't have good coverage and were not covered adequately. So that explains some of the increased cost. But overall with more competition the prices should be lowered. That's the law of supply and demand and competition for providing a service helps keep prices lower. That's what my economic class teachers said.
