Clint Eastwood is the man in about anything he does. I don't go to the movies often unless I'm dating someone new and then we only go to the dollar theater. It has been a VERY VERY long time since I was actually excited about seeing a movie. Well ole Clint has done it with American Sniper. Chris Kyle was a bad hombre make no mistake. I mean come on 163 CK's and the longest shot ever recorded in shooter history. No telling how many American soldier lives he saved.
American badass, can't wait to see this movie.kidding of course.
Movies are cool once in a while but my OCD gets the best of me at times. If I feel goo on the arm chair or someone around me is coughing or sneezing it ruins it for me and I think....**** if I was at home I could watch and cry this movie around friends or family.![]()
Back to the point.....I will go see this movie!
Band of brothers was great! You can also add the green mile as another one of tom hanks great movies. That one is another one of my favorites

LOL This is good stuff man.................good stuff.Me too man....even though I know it's coming that scene with the old Ryan kills me
every time. Same thing in Band of Brothers when Winters is asked if he was a hero by his grandson (I think) and he says no but he served with a bunch of them though.
I can't lie I'm a crybaby hahahaha anything with little kids tears me up and especially when it's one if my kids. Seeing my oldest win a race with the swim team was tough because i was in public so I contained it....after all "there ain't no crying in swimming"!!.
I'm in for some tear jerking moments because my 2year old is starting Dance next month and they get their cute outfits on and Bounce around. Little girls always run to Daddy when we show up so I'm rehearsing in my head how to not sob tears of joy and happiness every time she gets dancing with her class mates. Aha!!!!! I need a picture of nancy pelosi so if I get emotional I can glance (not stare...don't wanna go blind) and snap me out of it.
Winters was a leader to end all leaders. That my friends was one Helluva man, what all men can strive to be like.
Well you fellas have named just about all my favorite movies.
Saving Private Ryan
Band of Brothers.....actually a mini series but close enough
Forest Gump............if the world's people all had FG's heart the world would be darn near perfect
The Green Mile..............just a fantastic movie, RIP Michael, marvelous actor
Shawshank Redemption...........What he did to that Warden was priceless. Brilliant acting
We Were Soldiers..........Maybe Mel Gibson's best acting job
The Patriot..........When Mel went Viking with that Tomahawk.......**** I knew they had woke up some nasty.
Tears of the Sun............If you haven't seen this one...You need to
Outlaw Josey Wales............Dieing ain't much of a livin boy.............Freakin classic
Jaws..........I couldn't swim past my knees in the Ocean for three years
The Mrs. bought me the boxed set of "Band of Brothers" on DVD for Christmas many years ago. Trouble was, we didn't own a DVD player. Youngest son knew about the gift and bought us the DVD player. Now, if I can only figure out how to use the dang thing!![]()
Son came to the rescue, got it all hooked up to the TV and taught me how to use it. Ah, memories of Christmas past.
Don't forget to rewind the DVD's before you put them away!
No doubt about it those are some of my favorites as well. Jaws messed me up so bad that swimming in a pool at night freaked me out!!!! Our pool!!! I was a kid...maybe 7th grade at the time and your imagination could get the best of you at that age!Well you fellas have named just about all my favorite movies.

Now that's a marathon I could sit down and watch! Order up some pizzas, pig out and watch a REAL movie marathon. I forgot all about the patriot. Gibson and his trusty tomahawk. After watching some of those movies I walk around like I'm a tough S.O.B those are some really inspiring films! Gosh I remeber when I was a kid walking around the woods with my BB gun popping birds pretending they were enemy troops and I was the American hero. Man I miss being a kid sometimes... Glad I grew up before the technology boom so I had the chance to enjoy childhood imagination. Sorry I got off topic but I just had one of those nostalgic moments.Well you fellas have named just about all my favorite movies.

The longest shot that was a confirmed kill was by a Canadian, and I believe it was about 1.5 miles......that's a heck of a shot!!!It has been a VERY VERY long time since I was actually excited about seeing a movie. Well ole Clint has done it with American Sniper. Chris Kyle was a bad hombre make no mistake. I mean come on 163 CK's and the longest shot ever recorded in shooter history. I should have clarified by saying the longest by an American and it was and I thought the longest by anyone was a British sniper but not important as this was about Kyle.
Yea, he seemed like he was the type of guy you don't want on your bad side, for sure!!! Shame he died the way he did....
Saving Private Ryan is one of them and Top Gun is the other one.
I like WWII and other war movies and seeing the Sniper movie is on my list of must see movie. I got back into shooting the last few years.
