ok, sorry to confuse you, try reading the post below again, I didn't say President Obama lowered the price of gas, I said it happened under his watch. you guys that dislike President Obama are quick to blame him for anything bad that happens under his watch. so I thought/wondered if any of you would give him credit for something good that happened under his watch. I already new the answer, but was just messing with some of you guys on here.
but i'm still thankful for the 1.95 per gallon, it makes me like my f-150 with the Triton V8 a little more.

the cheapest I've seen was 1.94 and it was in TN. it's nice to see it under 2 bucks again, it won't last long, but it dropped at a good time, helped folks save a few bucks to spend other places. I remember buying it back in the late 60's for 19 cents per gallon.

It will last longer than you think. 2016 futures have the price of a barrel at 65 bucks. LOTS and LOTS can change between now and then, but the commodity traders generally "know" something.

I'm more worried about what 65 bucks/barrel is doing to the bakken fields out West. Those towns will be ghost towns in 18 months, as they need to make about 70 bucks/barrel to break even. Those numbers are old, and the infrastructure has already been built, so maybe it is not that much, but I don't think NEW fields will be opened anytime soon.

AG, was known as the "bagman" for Mark Rich's buying himself out of his legal predicaments (he was a felon on the run - google it sometime all you Obama lovers). I don't think I have to reiterate all the felonies that can be laid at the doorstep of this crook Holder. Let's not forget he also dispatched high level officials to the funeral of the piece of sheetz in Ferguson! fair enough, they may drop and stay below 2 bucks for a while, the article I read on gas prices saving drivers 14 billion in 2014, and AAA said they could see American drivers saving 75 Billion in 2015, I hope that holds true.
