For those who like the winter fishing hope this helps, using live bait, my numbers have fallen off, along with the quality.
But being on the water an talking with several others good quality fish are being caught.
I'm finding better results drifting the bait over marked areas. This is structure that I have saved as wave points on the graph.
I'm at 35 ft of depth.
Getting back to the structure issue My electronics will show it on only as a drastic contour or bottom change.
Anytime throughout the year IM drifting and find structure I'll mark it. Trying to create a route for later use.
Water temp I'm showing is 46/47. But temp gauge is acting up others may have better numbers.
As the water gets colder I try to get the bait to the target rather than wait on what I consider fish moving to my set area.
Now I have had a couple skunked days, but those regulars that I know an understand winter Dale throwing hard baits are doing good
Put these in the boat this morning.
