I get what you're saying, but this is probably exactly when you want to play Duke. We all know they are much better than their last 2 games, but they are clearly struggling right now. I think you want to catch them when they're in this slide before they figure things out again.

Interesting angle and I hope you are right. I know they will be ready Saturday can you imagine a three game slide with this team, wow.
The ACC is really good this year even the non ranked teams are potent. I also think the SEC is much better than a lot of people think. This years March madness is going to be crazy.

I had 4 tickets to the Louisville/Duke game on my desk yesterday that were for a customer of mine...thought for a minute that they weren't going to be able to go...and I was going to offer them up to the Fishin.com Cardinal contingent. As it turns out, they were able to go, and I delivered them yesterday. Gotta admit, I felt a little dirty, just after handling tickets that contained both the Louisville and Duke logos. LOL

Duke IS Okafor...and personally, I think Louisville will handle Duke. Louisville by 6.

I agree with know1 that Duke is better than the two losses show and they will be a nasty out in Feb and March. Parity and competition in league play continues to get better year after year. Yea there are always a few bottom dwellers but for the most part each and every conference have those sleeper teams that can beat anybody on any given night.

I still don't know what to think about Kentucky. When they hit shots and have that high 40 percentage range from the field and mid 70's from the line I don't know who can beat them. However when they can't throw it in the Atlantic ocean I think anybody could send them home come March. If I was a Kentucky fan I would have cautious optimism with this group. Same with Louisville they made VT look bad last night and they aren't a bad team. Why because they scored the basketball. Heck even Wayne Brickshear shot well from the field.

Many things can be made about stats during and after a game but one thing is the biggest constant the ball has to go through your net to win games. For me right now after watching a crap ton of games this year I think Virginia has been the most consistant ball team I have watched. They have really taken care of business and look like it comes easy most of the time.

That's what makes college sports so fun to watch. Any team can be beat any night. Sure I love UK. Sometimes I get aggravated that people say they are unbeatable. Personally I'd like to see them get beat in sec play or lose in the sec tourney. I would hate to have an undefeated team going into the big dance. Just to much pressure.

UofL has their work cut out for them in the ACC that's for sure. Facing duke after a 2 game skid sounds scary to me. I like the cards to win this one as long as they can handle okafor. The guards guards will eat up dukes just like miamis guards did. I can't stand duke so I might have to go buy a redshirt and cheer for this game.
