    Yes and no

I went to the tail waters this afternoon, a little windy down there about a dozen people fishing , walking dogs, pic- nicing. I saw people catching fish, but using bait under floats. I do not know what was used or caught. I was standing up on the arms of the dam.I went to Posum Ridge, and it was not iced over, and there were two trailer in the parking lot.I went to Van Buren and it was frozen over . A great day to be out in the hills of the Bluegrass

I just went to get outside and run the boat and check some things. Also played around with that fly rod Tim Tipton sold me-trying to learn how to use it. They recommend learning without a real hook on the end of the line for safety reasons. I had a 2 inch piece of yarn (as recommended) tied to the end of the line. Figured I couldn't hurt myself too bad with that. I am thinking a flyrod might be pretty effective there plus it can double as a basic cane pole for Crappie fishing when the red buds are in bloom.
