I have a copy. I used to work on his show "Billy Westmorland's Fishing Diary". I was with Billy when we sunk his bass boat on Lake Erie.

any one know where i could get a copy of his book them old brown fish
I went to my local library and inquired about the book. They did not have a copy but they got on the computer and loacted a copy at another library. If my memory is correct the library in Somerset, KY. had it. Anyways whoever had the book sent it to my local library. There was no charge for the service. I checked the book out and had to return it. I tried to get my local library to sell it to me and they said they could not do it. I even called the original library that shipped it to my local library and ask them if they would sell it and their answer was no. All of this took place 7-8 or more ? years ago..if all you want to do is read it try your local library. If they do not have it ask them if they can locate you a copy.
The only people in the cruiser that came back was a gentleman who made the buckskin jigs, local guide and bill wiehdert the show's videographer.
Well he told me about this and thought he said he was in the cruiser, I do know he was good friends with Billy because I ran onto Brian at the Indy boat show once and Billy was talking to a bunch of people in a booth and Brian sent over there to ask billy if the rumors of him being gay were true. I did it and as soon as I said it Billy started looking around and said where is that SOB and then he said there he his and started shaking his finger at Brian. They hooked up and I saw them later they were still walking the show together.
I might have misunderstood him maybe he just told me about the incident and I though he was in the cruiser. as I remember the story they told Billy not to drive the boat over to the island but to trailer it on the the ferry and he said no it was a 20 ft boat and it had upright and level floatation and would not sink but it did. Is any of this right?
