Both ended up in the water at Toho......Ish ended getting LOCKED UP.

Cost the Co angler in the other boat a bunch of money, since he didn't get to fish but 1 or 2 hours and had to then deal with a these "professional" anglers acting like ASSHOLES........

I was always on the fence with Ish. I didn't care for him one way or another. At that level of fishing do these guys get the boats free and clear from their sponsor? If so why would Ish get so fired up?
I mean if I purchased a boat for $50k -70k with my money and someone rammed me by mistake I would be pissed and things could escalate. If it was a boat that my sponsor provides me and it wasn't totalled (he fished the rest of the day) then I find it hard to see me getting that fired up. Pissed yes but to jump into another mans boat means I'm here to fight.
Of course I don't know the details and maybe pouche called him some dirty names or made fun of him but from what I'm reading now Ish made the biggest mistake by choosing to get in the other boat.
As professionals there's no excuse for either to behave the way they did and I agree with BASS disqualifying both of them. In the end it will probably be a case of either one of them could've prevented the altercation simply by behaving differently. Ish just took it to a different level when he physically went after the guy.
Even if he did hit his personal boat they have insurance. Ish has the reputation of being a hot head. No reason to board another man's boat unless you are looking for a fight. No matter what Ish may or may not have been called don't come into the boat.

These days a good ole country ass whupping is like some heinous crime. I remember a time when it just wasn't that big a deal. Every now and then somebody took one, and it was all over. No carrying on, no cops, and no lawsuits, the situation was generally settled.
Somebody runs into my sled hard enough to crack fiberglass...unless he's looking all Brock Lesner over there, I'm on his ass like a real expensive suit.

Stole this from BBC
Nice post, thanks.
Since most people, including myself, probably has a firearm of some type in their boat I don't know if that would be a good idea or not. Since Ish knew the guy was a fellow competitor he also knew that he did not have a gun on him. I bet Ish would not act so bad*** to someone if he thought they might have a gun on them. These days a good ole country ass whupping is like some heinous crime. Now that's a little better. Hearing from another Pro who was there is a little different than what the two involved stated. Unless I mised it I don't remember reading Ish going in the water.
Bottom line.... they both messed up but I think Ish made the worst mistake. Telling someone your going to whip their ass by jumping in their boat and then jumping in that boat to do that is the mistake will get him punished. JMO..
