You guys got me thinging of going to the river, bout 5 mile drive from the cabin. Any thoughts on trossing "swim baits" from the bank?

I been doing better with white stick baits but if can keep it off of the bottom, I don't know why it would not work. Keep us updated.

Caught my biggest rainbow 7 1\2 # behind the hydro's 30 years ago on cut shad. I was fishing for catfish LOL. Young and ....well figuring it out. Now when I go I throw a count down rapala and catch quite afew, just nothing as big
