Mhall the knot Gary showed is very easy to tie if you tie it to a jig or something with some weight so when you pass it through the eye of a jig head and take it up and pinch it with the main line and wrap it the weight helps.

If you tie it to just a hook it becomes a problem when you try to wrap it. try tying the knot first with just a single line just run the line through the jig head run about 24 inches of the tag line through the eye pinch the tag and main line together about ten inches above the jig head with a long piece of tag line wrap it around both lines below your pinch area five times then take the line back up through the loop at the top and cinch down. This is just like the video except it is done with single line and will be easier to learn. after you tie it several times I think you will be able to tie the double easier.

The knot Shawn ties would probably be easier to tie with just a hook, I might have to try that one, myself. I hope I have KNOT confused you.
