Favorable weather patterns for Striper fishing

It seems that my most productive weather pattern for striper fishing, regardless of the temperature, is sunny with wind below 8 mpg from the West or South. Can anybody please contribute to that?

I never can tell with stripers. My two best days in the last 3 months has been polar opposites of each other. One day was 30mph+ winds and cloudy the other was dead calm and sunny! The only weather day I hate to fish is the high pressure day after a major front but even those days can suprise me once in a while.
