I woke up this morning and my wife asked if I had switched careers to meteorology. I said "why?", she said "cause your 8 inches look like the eight they forecasted for today". I looked out and there was about a half inch of new precip outside:/

Another 6 inches of combo ice/snow, came off the vehicles easy as it just slid off, but the driveway and walks were a beeatch.

I had a few inches of ice snow mix on my car yesterday and it was easy to get off and slid as yours did. The biggest problem is water on the roads from the melting snow and rain.

I thought about you as I watched this last night, your trip time is getting near, no snow and ice in fl, thought I'd post this just for a reminder to be careful, and this video is fun to watch. wonder how a Gator would react to be poked, with a cattle
    shocking rod.

Thanks.....Man that place was loaded with Bass and Gators!!! I'll dig up a few pics of gators on my line while fishing Farm 13 in Florida. It's always a concern that's for sure. The places we used to swim as young men make me cringe now when I think about it!!!
I guess God watches out for children and fools...and I can clearly see we were fools.

I remember the gators at farm 13, at the time the gators were tame because of the number of fisherman that were always around. Ffw was warning people about the dangers of feeding the gators. I took an airboat ride on the St johns one time and we stopped at a place where there were baby gators around. The driver picked up one and handed it to me after instructing me how to hold it with two hands. It was so cool to hold it and it was amazingly strong for its size and yes I know it's illegal to do that. Btw, the dude in that video ain't right in the head.

I've been seeing a lot of robins lately. I'm just not sure if it's migrating robins that are arriving or overwintering robins that are becoming more active.
