Fort Knox has several lakes and yes they do require that you get a permit. There is a Hunt Control Office on Fort Knox. Don't know what the permits cost but not much and they are good for a year. Most of the lakes have bass,crappie,bluegill,catfish and strippers. Dickerson is also stocked with trout by the state.

No more than 10.00.for a year. There has been some 20lb. plus stripers come out of lower Douglas Lake. Lease lakes are very small and are only allowed trolling motors on the lakes that permit boats. You can get all the information at the hunt control office...at 502-624-7311.
