    2 piece fishing rod

I got a 2 piece rod I want to male a 1 piece. I used some epoxy and it held together for a little bit then came apart. Anyone tried gluing 2 piece together? I've used epoxy in the past and it has worked great. Any suggestions???

Sounds like you might have some foreign substance on the ferrules keeping the glue from adhering. I would first clean them with simple green or something similar, then lacquer thinner, then denatured alcohol. The alcohol should be last because it's the only solvent that totally evaporates, leaving nothing behind.
