Gonna head there in the morning just wondering if anyone has a report of any kind, thanks for the help. I'll be in a Hobie Kayak and just fishing for fun.

I personally have not been but on my post earlier in the week wormin said the lake turned over and he caught two and one was a keeper. If you would post back after your trip and give us a report. I am wanting to go next Monday or Tuesday. Good luck

Heres a report. Went yesterday and had a ball, most weren't catching fish, but I had a few. Fished grass flats in the head of creeks with channel or deeper water close by. threw a 1/2 oz red eye shad, very very slow...crawl it! pop it every now and then but gently. water temp was 46-48 water is heavy stained but clearing slowly, visibility was about 3"-4". marked alot of fish suspended over deep water, I feel like when the water clears those fish could be caught on a jerkbait or A rig. today should warm the lake some too. I had 7 fish between 11:00 and 1:30, one was right at 20" and another was 19.25", several between 15 and 18" and at the end of the day I lost one at the boat on a jig that was well over 8lbs....really huge fish!

Awesome thanks for the report. I'm hoping to get down there Monday or Tuesday and catch the first fish in 6 months. I missed out the fall and winter fishing due to surgery so I am more than ready to set the hook.
