Rough river, barren or guist creek?

my dad and i are planning on fishing this thursday and friday and we are torn on where to go. i want to bass fish barren and he wants to crappie fish rough river. just curious on the bass and crappie bites and water quality on these lakes right now. i know they're pulling them hard so i'm worried about muddy water and debris. If the water is bad we will probably just stay home and fish guist creek. thanks

Was on Barren all weekend in the cold. I did decent & had a few good ones. Biggest was 6.1. Skeeter tourney Saturday had 122 boats & they crushed them. Took 21+ to win. Several bags over 20. USA Bassin had a 50 boat tourney Sunday. Was told it took 26 to win. A lot of A rigs, crankbaits & jerk baits being thrown. Water looked great & avg temp was 50-54.
