Where are some of your all's suggestions on what lake/what part of the lake to go catch some crappie this week. Or should I stay home and go catch a big basket of bluegill out of a pond. Seems like all the lakes are a little off right now. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks, drew
Drew ... my suggestion would be Green River Lake. Even though it came up 3ft since yesterday ... it's barely a foot over Summer Pool as of this AM.
They've been catching some good fish, fairly shallow (3-10fow) at times ... spider riggin or casting with jigs (no minners needed).
I'd fish the Holmes Bend end of the lake, but your mileage may vary. With the day temps going to be in the mid to upper 70's ... they should be hunting along the banks by midday or later. Just keep your eyes on the weather !!
Barren has had spotty reports, but some have been decent ones.
KY/Barkley is tough to very slow right now, according to my sources.
Cave Run & Taylorsville are both still flooded ..... CR-15ft over Summer Pool --- T-ville-22ft over Summer Pool
