Life or death?

Every time there's any kind of high profile crime, people flood message boards like this one and post about all the cruel and unusual ways the criminal deserves to die, so at the very MINIMUM, the death penalty is revenge for at least some people. It's pretty hard to deny that.

But, I don't think it serves any other purpose than revenge even if it's done in a cold, calculated, humane (if that's really possible) way.

I am one of those. To me if a person kills others then he/she should know they have a good chance of getting killed for his/her actions. After some time the killers can be reduced due to making more and more of them take a permanent dirt nap. I see no other way to treat those type of criminals. You disrespect and steal a life from loved ones you get the same treatment. Society should have no use for people like that....I 100% without a doubt don't.

I also feel that child molesters get castrated or put down. I have zero tolerance for most crimes. My views are shared by many and I make no excuses for those views.
