Need a 50hps 2cyl engine bad

I apologize for posting on this site , I already posted on the Boating sell/buy board & no one answered me

So, I really am looking for a OMC 50hp and I would like it to be the 2cyl model if possible

You clearly state 2 cycle OMC, but there was a new 4 stroke Merc 50 hp in Jamestown, KY on craigslist for just over $5K. I found a 10 year old 2 cycle Yamaha for $2900 at the Boat dealership near Herrington Lake. I'm sympathetic, but not desperately searching for a 40 hp. Good Luck.

Thanks sir , I tore up my 40hp at Nolin a couple of weeks ago when the lake was full of debris(like it is now) I guess I hit a submerged log .

Those motors are a little out of my budget but thanks for the info

I have a jet drive for that 40, but it needs a few hundred in parts.

Sycamore Island in New Albany used to have a pretty big boneyard of parts. YOU "might" be able to find what you need to repair your destroyed motor......I'd give them a ring and see.
