I was there Saturday 4/11 and parking was somewhat full. The lake has rose quite a bit since then leaving other ramps unusable or hard to use so there will be even more to use Butler this weekend. If you do not get there early parking could be an issue. Unloading is one at a time so with limited parking and one at a time unloading a tournament is not feasible out of that ramp.

It's been 20 years or so but I do recall unloading at Emerald Isle Marina at very high water. I was with a friend that had picked his boat up from a mechanic that lived just outside of Campbellsville towards Mansville. We were taking his boat out for a test ride. If my memory is correct the guy who worked on his boat was Rodger Brite...If my information is correct Rodger has been dead for a few years now. In his day he was a heck of a wrench on a carburetor motor. Anyways when we picked the boat up he suggested we use Emerald Isle Marina because he thought that Emerald Isle Marina was the best high water ramp on the entire lake. It's been 20 years or so but for some reason I still remember him saying that. As for myself that ramp is on the wrong end of the lake from where I live. I use Butler at high water. I have no idea how parking is at Emeral Isle Marina. I only used the ramp once and that was 20 years ago.
Roger Bright the outboard mechanic & retired school bus driver is alive and well. There was another Roger Bright that died a few years back, I think he worked at IR. My hubby grew up close to Emerald Isle, he said it should still be usable.
