Hi there, I recently am fishing again and have been checking out a lot of small rural ponds. I always catch plenty of small bass, and bluegill! I now would like to check out some bank fishing at bluegrass! Any suggestions on locations to access the lake from the bank?

Along Kansas road you can fish at Loon Pit and Otter pit. Also there is a small pit that's recently been opened to shore fishing (better access now) and that is along the Northern Section of Kansas Road between Euler Rd and St Johns road. There is plenty of shoreline fishing all along Otter Pit. And Bluegrass Pit has sections along is South Side right next to Boonville New Harmony Rd to fish. Further east on BVNH rd there Bird Dog Pit which has lots of shoreline access along the South side of the road there. There are a number of other pits. Pick up a map of the area at the Southern Parking lot at Bluegrass Pit. There should be a information side and next to it there may be some maps of the area. That's the best way to find all the other pits in the area.
