Any one have info on lake conditions on cumberland? Have the shad started to spawn yet?

I hear them flipping around the bait in the am when netting bait.

The lake conditions on Cumberland are the best I have seen in a long time. With clear weather conditions the water is super clear and about 72-75 degrees for water temp. With these conditions the largemouth are on fire. Ive been using a 3/8 oz jig with a green pumpkin and peach color by hooks some bass and have had out standing results with using this guys baits, I recommend you check him out, but you can take a jig and pitch it around brush and stumps along the bank and can pull out some nice large mouth!

Thanks for the report. Was going to go but my yard/landscaping has been neglected for past couple years and my wife wanted it spruced up for mothers day. So I give Lowes a bunch of business this weekend instead. Gotta keep momma happy.

The shad are spawning and the bass are slurping them up at night right now.
