Planned on fishing Cave Run. Found out the Skeeter tour has a derby tomorrow and with only two ramps open I don't want to fight crowd or park on the street. Where would you go, KY lake is to far, all other lakes are game. Help!!!!
BTW not a fan of crowds

Ended up fishing Cave Run. Lake was packed. Skeeter derby and a kayak derby had three or four boats at every place I wanted to fish. Ended up with two good overs and two slots before the derbys were over. At 2pm I went to the marina and cooled off and ate lunch till 4pm while the tournament guys were finishing. After they all left the fishing really turned on. Ended up leaving at 7:30 with the bite still on, but was burnt to a crisp. During tournament hours fish were caught flipping flooded bushes. After tournaments fish were caught on square bill, rattle traps and one brute on a 5" split belly swimbait. Bass and muskie were busting fry once the lake calmed down. Had a monster muskie take swim bait right at boat. I hit my button but it still broke me off once I tried to turn it from going in the flooded trees.
Was a good day!!!
