Yes it was hard to watch. I had to explain to my son who saw it first, that police officers have to approach suspects as if they might get shot by them. That's why you have to always respond to police as if they might shoot you at any time. Always comply with respect. Never run, ignore, disrespect, or fight with them. You will lose. I do think it was a tragic result. Hearing the cop ask the dead guy what he was reaching for in his pocket sure sounded like he was offering a statement for the lawyers.
