Just wondering if anybody knows any info on a person that died this past Sunday at Nolin around moutardier marina. I was out of gas and got towed to moutardier marina and got all the way up to the gas pumps to find a guy laying on the back of a pontoon that appeared to be dead. The paramedics were just standing next to him with a blanket over top of him. It was around 4-4:30 on Sunday. Just wondering if anybody knew what had happened.
It was my boss's nephew. He was 33 and they think he had a heart atack while kayaking.Just wondering if anybody knows any info on a person that died this past Sunday at Nolin around moutardier marina. A terrible thing.
Heartattack while kayaking sounds like a bad way to go. Kayaking has gotten super popular lately and there are a lot of people just jumping into it. It takes a lot of cardiovascular strength to really do it right (read:safely). Not saying this guy wasn't fit but if you're looking to get into kayaking, take it slow, especially if you're not much for exercise to begin with. And if you're drinking or anything else while kayaking you're putting that much more stress on your system, be careful!
My condolences to the family. 33 is too young (I'm 34!)
