I've been thinking this for a long time. They should make the area surrounding the basketball court bigger and move people away from the sidelines. Especially under the basket but also around the entire court. Players are going to get hurt falling over people as they try to chase a loose ball or drive under the basket.

There is talk about moving the photographers back away from the court more. I think that's a good idea. Those guys have telephoto lens that cost up to $70,000 for a zoom lens that goes from 100 mm to 600 mm and can be put on the Canon DSLRs. So they can move back another ten feet or so and give the ball players some more room. Move the Cheerleaders back away from the baseline too. They get run over all the time by the players. Now that's always fun to watch but one day someone is going to get hurt bad when they fall over the cheerleaders sitting at the end of the baseline.
