My outboard does the same. My buddy's tracker does it really bad as well. I think it's just if your steering arm is not super tight. Seems like if you go out and observe most boats do it. Not a big deal unless is a very harsh shake.
I had a 84 Johnson 20 hp. that would do that and it would sneeze and die . I changed all the fuel lines and put on new hose clamps and it fix the problem. If you have a fuel filter change it to .
I had a 1982 25 HP Evinrude that started doing that after it got some age on it, but still ran fine. I think all those horses just wanted to get out and run!
Thanks guys. Just make sure it wasn't working itself loose. Its been doing it for the whole 3 years I have owned it.

That would definitely be the problem IF the engine was putting out a large amount of smoke along with the shake. I've learned all about VRO pumps and many other engine problems or parts lately with my boat being down. Come to find out it's something completely different than the pump after thinking it was about 10 other things. I guess there's always a positive side to every situation.this should help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEbW-6eOc5I
Not having much smoke, just the shake. It does sound a little rough at very low speed. I've changed the fuel line and primer bulb, spark plugs and fuel filter. It runs better than it did but not just right.
Might just be loaded up. Some three cylinders just run a little rough at idle too
