Bowfishing?

Anyone else out there shooting? Been below ky lake and barkely a few times this year and had a ton of fun. I live in the bardstown area and was wondering if anybody knows of any good places to shoot. I want to try the ohio river but im not comfortable navigating it in a boat. So maybe shoot from the banks by the dams? Really just want to spend a day sticking as many asian carp as i can so any info is appreciated

Be sure to read the regs. I think there's a distance amount from a dam,etc that bow fishing is prohibited. I could be wrong on that, but check the regs anyway.
