Night fishing on KY Lake

Do a lot of people night fish on KY? We night fish at Guntersville in the summer and rarely see another boat. I've never fished KY Lake before but have a buddy who has fished it. We were considering a trip down later this month. Big spinnerbaits and big worms are what we would typically throw at night in Alabama. Any advice? Thanks in advance for any help!

Ky lake is fished by a fair number of night fisherman but it is nothing like the day. If you night fish during the week you may very well have the lake to yourself. Friday / Saturday night there are more boats out of course. You are right on target with big spinnerbaits and worms. Add in some jigs and texas-rigged tubes and you will be right in vogue. Fishing Ky lake at night is rarely a numbers game but a great time to catch some good ones including some brown fish. Good luck on your trip...
