There is a wire coming out of the front of my foot peddle going to my HDS. The only connection i see is where it hooks to the far left on the HDS. Does the adapter hook to that wire somewhere? Another words i don't see any adapter.
Heck it might be using the transducer in the trolling motor. The only thing is that my counsole and up front are networked and they show the same screen. I was told by the person that hooked everything up that both units were using the transducer in the rear.

    Thank You very much

Go into your HDS10 and put it in sonar mode using your pages key. Now press the menu key. Somewhere in the menus there should be a tab that says "source". You want that "source" to say "this unit". If it does, you should be reading off of the transducer in your trolling motor. The adapter I mention is very small and is inline with the wire coming from the foot pedal. You probably already have it. Again, I have Gen1 units. Let me know if you cannot find that source tab and I will find out the exact key strokes to get you there.
