    Nolin Walleye

Man is there any wallies left?? I have trolled a good deal this year and have caught a bunch of other species but only 1 walleye and he was maybe 13 inches ? What has happened to all those Eyes we used to catch in the early 90's .

We would catch them Bass fishing all the time . Have they been over harvested? Do they still stock the lake ?? I am scratching my head for sure

I don't believe they stock them any longer, and they don't really spawn effectively...

Under those conditions, I would think they are over harvested.

    Later,

Been catching a lot of eye's this year at Nolin. It's just 1 keeper right at 15ins to 5 shorts!!! I called. They are still stocking the lake. But I really really think it's the mennonites and amish............... You see them out on the points and islands fishing for walleye's and they keep everyone.

I never have much luck catching them in the lake. A few here and there. Ive done well early spring fishing for them in the headwaters. I actually see alot of people catch them. Right place at the right time i guess.

The Amish fish every single day for them and keep everything. I don't think nolin can support that and produce good ones. Not sure about in the 90s though. Did they fish the way they do now?

i don't think the Amish should benefit from our tax dollars. however, there's no way they can fish them out themselves. I caught several last year on my spot. they will not bite at night when the lake gets heavy boat traffic and clouds up the water
