    Nolin

Going down this weekend to Nolin and want to try to get the kids to catch some fish during the day. I know the lake is zoo with all the runabouts and other boats. Is there anyplace you can go to get out of the zoo and catch some fish??? Don't care what we catch.
Also, any tips on how to catch some carp?? Fished for these when I was there age back in the 70's and loved catching them.

There is a cove that splits off into a "Y" shape just past the ramp close to the dam. It is covered up in stumps and stickups. Pleasure boaters still go back there, but they have to be very slow because of the trees. That would be a good place to start if you wanted to catch some panfish and bass. It has a waterfall or two sometimes if it has rained recently. It is really beautiful back there.
