While the fishing wasn't what I would describe as on fire or anything the crankbaits were working for me and overall I was catching some nice fish including a small mouth that was about 3 1/2 lbs and a Lg. mouth that was probably pushing 5 lbs. I was in my kayak and these were by far the largest fish I have caught fishing out of a kayak and it was quite a thrill for me.

Seems like with the cooler temperatures the fishing is getting better. Last time I was there it was so hot that I couldn't figure out anything to get them to bite.
