We were down Saturday 8/15, and after the rain did some fishing along the banks mainly for bluegills. It was slow but we caught a few good sized long-ears and several cats tight to the bank near dark.
What surprised me was the first bluegill we caught. When I held it to remove the hook, I could not believe how warm the fish felt. After letting the fish go, I felt the water and it was as warm as a bath tub.
I always kinda thought wallies were more active in water around 55-65 degrees. Is that different at Nolin. Wondering cause I've been told fish kind of adapt and act differently in different lakes.
