We tried a few weeks ago for walleye pulling shadraps and nightcrawler harnes. Couldnt keep the catfish off long enough to catch walleyes. I struggle catching them in the summers anyhow but when i do luck up and catch one its short.. I agree with the above post that keeper sized walleyes are hard to come by. I like my chances in early spring when they are up in the river. Caught some real nice ones in February and March.
