Lake Cumberland is crawling and I mean crawling with Beavers. In fact there have been times over the last several years where they have ruined my fishing by constantly slapping that tail near me.Then I would move and here they come again..................arggh. Andrew ''APB'' on this site hooked one while we were Striper fishing one night in the back foot. We laughed till we cried and has been a standing joke every since.....LOL

We even named one of his home baits after that night's episode....Yep you guessed it, its called the Beaver bait...

If you have fished LC at night and have not had a beaver nearly scare you out of the boat, then you are doing it wrong.

Unfortunately due to my crazy work schedule. I've fished very little in the last 5 yrs. (sad) and no nights. That will change next year. I will make it for the spring night time fishing. I stocked up on Slivers and Gizzs, a couple of years ago plan on at least 5 trips this year. I have already got it pre approved b my boss. AKA the wife
